Columbia Coho Salmon

Columbia River Coho Salmon Fishing is something that many fisherman look forward to . Millions of salmon return each year to this majestic river giving the fishing enthusiast the opportunity to fish throughout most of the year for one of the Salmon species that use the Columbia and its tributaries to spawn.

Averaging 22lbs the Columbia River Chinook Salmon is the largest of the Salmon species in the Columbia. Fish in the 40lb – 50lb range are not a rarity and are frequently seen in the fish ladders.

Columbia River Chinook Salmon are excellent eating fish and can be prepared many different ways. High in Omega 3 fatty acids, these salmon are one of the healthiest fish you can eat.
